I wouldn't try upgrading using apt-get.. did this for pr1.1 because something prevented me from using the gui updater, ended up having to reflash. and as there is no version for the flasher yet you...

I just wanted to report my "success": Disabling the three widgets described in my last post seems to have done the trick for me.. No more crazy behaviour of fmtxd nor hildon-home....
