Just two copy pastes:

Linux kernel 2.6.37, with support for Intel Atom processor Z6xx series family and Nokia N900 with working power-management and numerous bug fixes.

Re: BH-504 on N900

I'm using both BH-214 and BH-505 and they work as intended. Haven't used my phone for a while though, but I remember that play pause and forward worked fine.

Re: NOKIA logo upside down?

Well I had the same issue happen last summer. Though I had to send my n900 for repairs 4 times. I had some issues with the back light, and that was fixed the first time. At the same time they had...

Re: [Announce] Como Llego - Helsinki Journey Planner

It seems that the new version of the HSL API has just arrived on beta testing. My username is not yet working though, but there seems to be a lot of new improvements (e.g. no WGS84 to KKJ2...

Re: [Announce] Como Llego - Helsinki Journey Planner

I've mainly just started to learn my basics on C++/Qt and don't really have anything yet to show. Mainly I've just done a few simple prototypes to query the API and parse the XML. I've also done some...

Re: [Announce] Como Llego - Helsinki Journey Planner

I'm actually doing my own application for HSL.fi to learn some C++ and Qt. I'm mainly concentrating on creating a good looking GUI and I was just wondering if it would be possible to take a look at...

Re: Playing music via bluetooth in car???

Most of the BT-systems in cars only work as a handsfree device. Atleast this seems to be true for Toyota. I did manage to get music playing once by accident though. Tried a s60, s40 and my n900.

Re: Bring up Camera Megapixel

You really should learn the basics of digital imaging. The basic principle with those applications is that they just resize the image to a larger image and try to fill the gaps without providing any...

Re: My misadventures with warranty repairs

If I recall correctly Nokia outsources its repair service. And the reason why there usually is poor service is because of cost issues. It's not just a Nokia issue. Don't know the actual numbers but...

Re: My misadventures with warranty repairs

Well.. That sucks. I share your pain. My n900 has been in service for almost 2 months already. Nothing to do with Nokia Care though. I used my mobile operators service and they sent my phone to their...

Re: Maemo 6??

Just misinformation I'd say. Atleast the screenshots are old and from an older maemo version (OS2008?). So the blogger just got a bit mixed.

Re: Ovi suite / Nokia PC suite stops Xvid Codec working.

Or could it be a problem with Windows codec handling? Just use VLC, it works.

Re: Bright spot or spots on display / LCD

It's not a software problem. I have the same problem with my old Fujitsu laptop as well. The problem is that the backlight is a bit brighter in some places. You'll notice the problem when looking a...

Re: Facebook and Mozilla problem (after PR 1.2 update)

I just had the same issue with my desktop browser (Firefox 3.6.4) last night. Worked after a refresh though if I recall correctly.

EDIT: I think the problem is that the server points you to...

Re: Keyboard is messed up

Did you do a complete reflash or just OTA update? Seems to me that you might have some third party software that could do that.

Re: Beware of some applications available on this forum can seriously damage the os.

Abill_uk, what point of extras-devel you do not understand? The whole idea of devel => testing => extras process is to get these problems that you talk about fixed.

If you don't understand the...

Re: Future MeeGo-Symbian App Compatibility? (Please help, on the verge of buying the N900)

Well both Meego and the newer (not yet released) Symbian support Qt which should make porting applications much much easier. And by PR1.2 maemo supports (officially) Qt4.6.

For older Symbian apps...

Have you overclocked your phone or done any other kernel modifications? The overclocked kernels seem to give this bug.

I agree with you. UI really should be designed that way. But no matter how the design is made, there is no single way to use a device. Even though it'd be great that everything is usable with one...
