Iirc, dpad center maps to return while osk and N810 return maps to enter.

That change happened with N900, as being phone appealed to Brand fans that wanted the latest and greatest from Nokia. Before then people were treating the Maemo devices more like PDAs or pocket...

rootfs content dump?

Do anyone have the content of a fresh rootfs floating around in a form that is easy to copy to a SD card? I seems to have hosed the internal one but have the bootmenu still installed in that section...

looks to me like it charges canon nb-5l camera batteries, not bp-5l nokia phone batteries.

I guess charging the battery in a different Nokia device that take the same kind could also work. I know a relative of mine operated a phone that way for a number of years.

Reminds me that Nokia was demoing using a bluetooth mouse (never mind a keyboard) to play Angry Birds on a Symbian phone hooked up to a TV while Android needed third party apps just to get a keyboard...

well it could be the charging circuit inside the tablet, or it could rhaps be the battery (but i would have thought then it would power on at all).

i do wonder if nokia has a external battery...

Have some kind of boot menu or other (no idea how long it has been there). But i boot from internal flash, not one of the SDs.

Hehe. Anyways, i kinda like using single column on my N800 (even tho it exposes a fair bit of stuff that the CSS usually keeps hidden, making the pages cluttered).
