Sorry if I seem argumentative, but I don't understand why you should use the potential of N900 to copy other OS themes and styles. I think we should open up new roads!

I had same problem when i have deleted directory /usr/lib/locale for free up rootfs. replaced directory fixed problem.

if you want you can try to autoremove osso-browser.
IMPORTANT: take note of all dependancies that you remove
after reinstall all

i have fixed in this way.
