QUSSD errors out with "Timeout: Modem didn't reply" message. Tried re-installing and rebooting - still no luck. Any suggestions?

That's a good question! I personally don't think the speed is regulated by the plan, but I'm not sure about T-Mobile, as I haven't switched yet...
At least with AT&T I had a very old 2G data plan...

Google Voice just added an instant notifications for messages and voicemails to their Android client. I wonder if it's possible to reverse-engineer the API to add it to TOR? ;) :rolleyes:

Happened to me today for the first time - there was an error message something like "Error taking the picture" and it didn't take the picture. Worked fine after that... So far only happened once -...

Try disabling those, as they have to stay alive by keeping the connection open and exchange the keep-alive messages with respective servers.
