Device lock and the camera

An unusual question: is it possible to somehow take a photo from a locked phone, just as it's possible in iOS? (you can take a phone even if the phone's locked but you still can't browse the gallery)

Re: Problems with multiple xkb layouts

Well, I played once again and noticed that pressing both keys does in fact change the layout.

The problem is that even if I'm using the Russian layout, I'm unable to enter Russian characters....

Re: [Announce] Python3.2 (3.2.3) on extras-devel

OK,

I managed to build python3-defaults. It builds and it's the only thing it does for the time being (until I adjust the dependencies correctly). I can't and won't proceed until Aapo's python3.4...

Re: [Announce] Python3.2 (3.2.3) on extras-devel

OK. Thanks for replying.

Are you uploading your port of 3.4? iirc you have it working?
If yes, I'll try something with python3-defaults. Could you upload your copy with your changes somewhere,...

wazrus,

for building dh_python3 we require python3-defaults. Maybe we could do this without it, but...

it's why I cling to the idea of python3 modules. The upstream versions are compatible with...

Re: [Announce] Python3.2 (3.2.3) on extras-devel

Aapo: would you be so king to state the state, please?

We're doing a big porting project[1], so that migration from our ancient py 2.5 is possible and the lack of information stalls the whole...

Re: [Developers' attention required] Future of Python in Fremantle

I took one more look at python-setuptools. And I decided:

I won't proceed with it until some sane python3 support is available.
It's a crucial package for building python apps and I don't want...

Re: [Developers' attention required] Future of Python in Fremantle

I'll build dh-python as soon as I have python3-defaults (it's required to build dh-python). So please pester Aapo to port it :) as he ported the standalone python3.2 and iirc has a working 3.4.

Re: [Developers' attention required] Future of Python in Fremantle

I think we should leave pysupport alone. It's deprecated anyway. What about looking at python-osso and python-mutagen? They have pycentral version all and >= 2.5

Re: [Developers' attention required] Future of Python in Fremantle

Removed python-mutagen from the list.

These:

python-hildon: 2.5 (['install', 'ok', 'installed'])
python-configobj: all (['install', 'ok', 'installed'])
python-cairo: 2.5...

Re: [Developers' attention required] Future of Python in Fremantle

You mean that the /usr/lib/python2.7 directory appeared only after installing python2.7 and not before?
