I've since bought another N9 from mobilecity for around $200 less than I originally paid at Harvey Norman and it's GPS works perfectly

Kallela: I didn't see a flood of i2c errors in syslog like you did (other than one when restarting the GPS), but I only had looked a couple of times since my last post. Did you see them every time...

I just got an N9 a couple of weeks ago and I'm getting concerned that it may have a defective GPS, and I just wanted to find out how well/poor the GPS behaves for others before I pursue...
