I dropped mine also. The face plate some part ways off and the D-pad poped out.

But it snapped back together Ok.

Great idea, except the V3xx isn't Windows & doesn't support PAN?

I have the same phone/hardware/carrier and occasionally lose the connection to the phone, but not so often as to be annoying. Also...

I figured out how to re-map the shift key so I can sprint. That seems to be essential to getting through some of the levels.

You've changed 'Advanced' settings on a network device, resolved a problem and didn't create any new problems. I'd say you've graduated wireless newbie school. :)

Although tethering is technically possible with the MediaMax plans & works fine, it is a clear and unambiguous violation of your contract with ATT. So I'd suggest that you may want to consider that...

N800 OS2008 -> Bluetooth -> RAZR V3xx (3g) -> http://dslreports.com/mspeed = 600-800kbps with a 1 meg file size.

That's more than fast enough.

You'll use up your 5MB pretty quickly. RSS and mail aren't too bad, but news sites tend to use quite a bit of bandwidth. Figure 4-5 pages per MB.

I'd have taken the offer. He appears to have tethered on a non-tether plan. Bell made him a decent offer.

It took me a couple minutes on Bell's we site to figure out how many MB/mo are associated...

I have the same problem with a Dlink AP. As soon as I enable N, the N800 goes blind.

I did discover that if I moved 50ft away from the AP I could connect, but if I was near the AP I could't.
