Re: Adobe releases experimental Flash to HTML5 conversion tool

Disclaimer - I haven't used this yet myself either but I had a good look through the Wiki page earlier.

There is no ActionScript support - it works with timelined FLA files only - and not much...

Re: why did my battery die so fast? (batterygraph screenshot included)

You hadn't by any chance recently loaded a pile of new music/video onto the phone had you? This happened to me the other morning, and the culprit was tracker-indexer that had kicked in and was...

Re: TwitterBox is now TweeGo!

There's a bug in PR1.2 (fixed already - awaiting the next public release) that means every first letter in the textboxes on the login screen is always a capital, including the password box (which you...

Re: TwitterBox is now TweeGo!

I just wanted to second this - I use it every day, too. Thanks for all your work, TweeGo authors!

Re: TwitterBox is now TweeGo!

That will likely be the co-ordinates (0,0) being returned. I've run across this when doing geolocation work in the past.

Re: TwitterBox is now TweeGo!

Sounds like a great idea - I've found that button difficult to press in the past. Also willing to test and report bugs if necessary.

Regarding OAuth as people have mentioned, Twitter have moved...

Re: Problems in Nokia N900

Are we all referring to the Conversations Inbox widget, perhaps?

Re: Unable to view size details in Application Manager

I don't think there's an option to enable this post-PR1.2, although you can still find out sizes by clicking on things individually.

I wondered this too, actually (I'm in London.)

Re: The possibility to make pictures invisible in the N900

I think that by default any folder called "Private" is hidden, so you could try creating one.

Re: No small letter at the start of a message no more ?

Voted, as this is pretty annoying and seems to be a regression.

I have found the solution to this problem - I'll write it up here when I get a spare moment :)

Application Manager sorting problems post-PR1.2

I'm having a problem that I haven't been able to find a fix for after a browse through t.m.o. and Bugzilla.

After updating from PR1.2, my App Manager lists begin in reverse alphabetical order,...

Re: What do you use to play music on your desktop/laptop?

WinAmp since just about the dawn of time :) (iTunes is an abomination to use in comparison, for the way I listen to music at least.)

Re: DO NOT INSTALL THEMES after PR 1.2

Eh? I use Marina (which is beautiful) and it looks perfectly fine. A couple of symbols on a virtual keyboard (which I never use) isn't going to change that :)

Re: updating takes one heck of a time

Yes, it takes some time. Around 20 mins, I think.

Re: PR1.2 - All conversations lost!

Mine disappeared as well. I had backed them up, but chickened out during restoring them as it seemed to be taking an age to "Finalise" at 99%.

You may be interested (although not surprised) to know that To-Do-O and icedtea6 seem to work fine under PR1.2 :)

Re: Maemo 5 PR1.2 released: OTA in UK - May 25, flasher - May 25, OTA & NSU worldwide - May 26

Available in London, UK for those with the Global Firmware version. Though someone's likely already said that.

Re: Maemo 5 PR1.2: Bugs

I've noticed this in Qt-based apps; in particular TweeGo and I assumed it was a Qt bug. It probably was (and could still be - I'm on PR1.1.1 'til tomorrow) but if it's extended to all other (GTK?)...

Re: Maemo 5 PR1.2: What's new? What's different?

I believe (though I'm not using PR1.2 yet) that you should just start typing while looking at a list in the App. Manager to start searching, like in the Media Player.

Re: PR 1.2 is OUT In UK!!

I started with PR1.0 [Global] I've had OTA updates before, all the way up to PR1.1.1. Then, I've once reflashed to 1.1.1 [Global Variant], due to a bricking of my own making.

That perhaps could...
