Re: Instant Search on N900

well anyway, actual problem boils down to the root cause, why tracker has file contents functionality disabled. It worths creating a bug, so that to see if that is realistic feature to expect.

Re: N900's Email is a Joke - Thunderbird on the N900???

Lucas is not going to get any far than claws is now. I am thinking on hildonizing it a bit but it won't happen instantly.

Connectivity issue- anybody using static IP from ISP?

Got into it when tried to leverage static (visible from Internet) IP setup. It requires different APN, and the only one was edited. The device connects fine but not really - nothing work including...

Re: VPN Client On N900

n900 has all major VPN providers supported, even openvpn which was left aside by both iphone and symbian.

After update to PR1.1 battery life improved to about 50% so it makes sense to update. vpn...

Re: Bluetooth Tethering Widget for N900/Maemo5

Re: Will N900 tether in Ubuntu?

Well I second that with F11 and F12 - it just works via USB cable. However, BT is just better in a number of situations.

Re: Will N900 tether in Ubuntu?

Just for clarity - this is the case with DUND (pnatd script)?

Blueman "sees" n900 as "Network access point", and appears to connect, but there seems to be no Bluetooth net device created on the...

Re: Best email client with spam control?

I think, claws is good email client but it isn't hildonized yet. Regarding to SPAM it leverages bogofilter/spamassassin etc. of course, but from what I know, Modest MUA does not have filtering at...

Re: offscreen applications for maemo

Basically, offscr folks have good insight on maemo, I've met them on Summit and they had bunch of small apps for fremantle ready. I recall some funny game with accelerometer, and a number of others.

Re: "Out of memory" and UI freezes on N900

Well, just keep top running in the x-terminal will tell you many things
about memory consumed etc. Basically, upon enabling extras-testing there is kind of checklist that is preferably being used...

Re: N900 and FMradio

Is there any way to turn off...

It's available in extras-devel but seems broken as still requires maemo-select-menu-location. Is there any project in garage on that?
