Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser

I don't know whether this has been reported so far,
and since this thread has grown to a monster again,

Still some clicks away from a user-friendly "One-click install",
and not really a "two-click", but very near;-)

Re: Installing Encyclopedia???

Ok, that makes sense, of course:-)
I downloaded the myTorrent client, and let it work for about 7 or 8 hours, and now the big three-parts Wikipedia is on my N810, too.
Luckily it's split into parts...

Re: vnc desktop to n810

I don't know if there is a VNC server for the N810,
however to get to see the N810's desktop you'll need to
have a VNC server running on the NIT, and a VNC client on the remote machine.

Re: iPhone and iPod Touch SDK is amazing... Wow.

The 770 and the N800 up to OS2007 used Opera as internet browser, which is the opposite of open source, and aside from the WLAN driver memory leak bug, actually was one of the reasons why the...

Actually I'm glad that the N810 _doesn't_ show all these console messages at startup.

These messages aren't really interesting as long as the unit starts up as expected.
And the unit starts up so...

And even if I set...
