nice, I did see the --incremental option, but i never thought it'd be what i was looking for :D thanks a lot...now it only needed a mere 4 seconds to get to my code 7415369 :D

Start > Run > cmd
navigate to the folder where you have john saved:
cd C:\john
then type
john-386.exe textfilewithhash.txt

I'm using the windows version of john. I don't see any options to tell john to just use digits...guess i'll just have to wait then for a couple of minutes.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. We share the same sentiments, but I still want to hold on to it, and see where this goes. I won't be selling this, but as soon as the Samsung Galaxy S comes out...well...
