Re: Re-commissioning N9 in 2018

Re N9QTweak: Don't use it if you have no idea what it does. You could, however, have a look at the pic on the right under your link. The tool bundles a couple of more or less usefull tweaks.

Re: [For Sale] Jolla 1 with Funky Red Other Half

Trying won't hurt. There's a whole world outside this community. Most of us here might already have a Sailfish device (or something similar). I presume i'm not the only one who would by another one...

Re: [For Sale] Jolla 1 with Funky Red Other Half

Might be a tad outdated, i'm willing to pay 45 € nevertheless. To be fair, you might get more than that on eBay.

Re: SailfishOS 2.0 Nexus5 based on CM13 alpha release

Thanks for your help. But after some testing, i doubt that this is the same problem. I can connect to BT hardware any time. With some hardware, i just don't keep that connection. Like with my Pebble.

Re: SailfishOS 2.0 Nexus5 based on CM13 alpha release

BT works and i'm able to connect but i lose my connection immediately. Turning off BT sleep doesn't change anything.

This is not a SFOS problem i think. It worked with my Nexus 4.

Re: SailfishOS 2.0 Nexus5 based on CM13 alpha release

I have the same problem with my Pebble Watch on 2.1.1.26. The phone seems to connect just to lose the connection immediately.

Otherwise, Sailfish on Nexus 5 works remarkably well and stable.

I don't think so. I downloaded the map of Germany some time ago and it works like a charm.

Re: The choice of OS of the new QWERTY device project

Problem with Dualboot is that, even though Multirom exists and works well, IIRC it's not available for Android >6.0 and thus LineageOS.

I'd go for LineageOS & easy to install Sailfish.

Re: Sailfish OS (officially) on Sony Xperia devices

You pay for the OS either way. In cash. Or with your data. I prefer not paying with my data.

And about that warranty: Crivens, any Android device is outdated once i turn it off. Forget about that...
