Re: Why are you developing for SailfishOS?

I'm doing it for similar reasons. I believe in Jolla and agree with their mission and goals. I love the software that it uses and all the attention that went into the details.

Honestly: when I...

Re: [HOWTO] Comprehensive Firmware Flashing Guide for Jolla

Seriously guys, I don't see your problem.

As Jonni (rainisto) says, the device is still unlockable, you just need to use a different way to do it. And you can go back to a previous software...

Re: Keyboard layouts for Jolla's Sailfish OS

I've created a Hungarian QWERTZ layout that is very similar to the one found in the N9. Since we have too many accented characters I added deadkeys to produce them.

So it searches for the accent in the...

Re: #JollaLoveDay - 20th May - device announcement

Hi guys,

Here's my suggestion: keep calm!
And your lesson for the day: patience is a virtue.

Please think about that.

I say let's give Jolla a chance. There are lots of good people there...

Yes. Different hardware and even more illegal to sell them.
Mine (black one) has a "not for sale" caption printed on it and I will respect that. :)

Re: No Sailfish Update for N9, really?

This is more of a legal question than a technical one. Since the N9 is the product of a different company, Jolla can not support it.

However, Nemo Mobile (the open source base that they are using)...

One thing to note: when you pair the Nokia Essence with your computer, the default profile may be set to something other than A2DP. If that is the case, you get very-very crappy sound with it.

Re: Nokia Essence

Have any of you tried in on a subway or a tram? How well does the noise cancellation work?

Also, is sound quality on par with wired headsets? Or better?
