it would probably be easier to use Qtmobility to get and write the contact info, and there are a few Qt classes floating around online or on github that will DAV(the contacts are just stored as files...

I know, but I think many here are thinking they are going to get an even better n9 when really, right now, something released by Jolla would be n9 minus nokia swipe ui, minus nokia maps, etc etc etc...

bah, that is pretty standard stuff. What would actually be NICE is if they transferred any asofnow closed code bits to Jolla, like bme or some gsm or gps or wifi drivers.
