Re: Sailfish on Turing Phones?

In China? that's like a drop in a sea. Also at least they have realistic expectactions, not like someone who aimed to become the third ecosystem with a beta os. :rolleyes:

Re: Marc Dillon left Jolla

He has alot of good points of running a startup in it; it appears clear that his belief (at the time of recording, at least) is the tablet campaign will be a success.

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet

Money talks, right?

[brainfart: on]
Let's crowdfound money to raise a company (result of your crowdfunding would be you are a owner of the company);
then once we have the money, let's enlist the...

Sounds familiar? I recall mr Elop using the same words for...

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet

Unfortunately, I have the most obvious one (Occam's razor). Yes, they ran out of money; and yes, it's fully plausible they saw it coming already in June, when it was clear that the initial plan of...

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet

You do realize that the Intex-Jolla deal was announced in July @ MWC, yes? Why would that scare an investor off?
This alone casts quite a long shadow on your card castle of conjectures.
