To answer incoming calls automatically, Answer() method of the call instance shows not allowed exception.. And to know the call_status of the incoming call I tried creating an instance of CallStatus...

Hey thanks, its exciting to have found this. I was thinking of mapping the call answer and reject options to the volume button. May be I could find some hints from your approach and map it that ways....
