Re: How do you use multitasking in N900?
I'd say I always have at least:
- xterminal (I start it as soon as I've booted to the desktop and keep it open),
- Media player (almost always open too),
- Conversation (at least 3 windows, on...

Re: Shell one-liner challenge
My bad! I misread what the man said. :p (And forgot about .* hidden files.)
Btw *.* won't catch files or directories without 'in middle' dot.

Re: Shell one-liner challenge
No, *nix isn't windows and it doesn't know anything like "name.extension" the dot is simply part of the name with no difference from any letter so * actually means 'all the files'

Re: PR1.2 Features you might have missed
Obviously, Catorise conflict with the menu reorganization feature since both edit the same file(s). So you have to chose, Catorise/MyMenu or the firmware edit feature.
Btw, to be on the safe side I...

Re: Overclock the N900?
Great work titan!
Does the new kernel-power-settings support the 'avoid_frequencies' feature?
(So I can get rid of my 'kernel-power-step2' script :p )

Re: Overclock the N900?
I also use a hidden SSID with WPA2/AES and my device have no problem to connect to it (autoconnect behave like before)
EDIT: Forgot to say I'm using Titan's kernel.

Re: Say NO! to Qt-based Maemo!
C++0x == "The end of us all".
Lot of "modern" coders should attend classes of "old school" programming before learning oop anyway.

Re: Overclock the N900?
The N900 doesn't idle at 850 or 500 or 250 or anything else, when idle, the cpu clock simply doesn't run. And I don't think the cpu is even powered.

Re: Overclock the N900?
This isn't related in any way. an app can do whatever it want with the LED (and you can change the LED behaviour by playing with mce.ini but I strongly advice AGAINST doing this unless you know what...
