the circle type remote on the right where the black chord is connected is the remote and has mic input. nokia earphones has rectangleish type remote with buttons like forward and play and has mic so the cord can be connected to the mic remote. i actually have used this on my psp and the connection is easy to make. if someone ports a guitar processor on n900 it would be AMAZING
