Can some one dig into this site for youku api to build an app ,i guess to over come any problem regarding chinese language, google translator helps !! I'm having a quick look at the API now.

I suspect it will come down to the same thing as with YouTube. Actual playback or download of videos will probably require some kind of dirty hack, although the API includes something called 'cross-platfrom video access component'.
