ok if (apt-get -f install) didn't work then on x-term type....

apt-get autoremove
apt-get autoclean
then....

apt-get upgrade
apt-get -f install
if the problem still persist then....

Code:
apt-get install --reinstall <packages name>
apt-get -f install
