Actually this is something i miss from my N82. The basic gps program, that was a rotating compass rose, with your speed and heading (i think?), and the time-to-destination with a red dot representing the bearing to your waypoint. Not very good for road navigation, but great if you're walking Something like that would be great - especially if you could customise the background, and what information is presented.
