My USB port became loose on Sunday after using it for approx. 20 months. I know opening up the phone and soldering could have prevented this, but since I still have warranty I didn't want to void it.. I was on a trip so I had to charge the phone. After I got home I made back-ups of everything important. After I was done with the back-ups I tryed to take off the cable.. The port came out with the cable, also three of the pads came out with the connector so I guess I'll be getting a replacement phone.
Since there isin't replacement N900 available I guess I'll get either E7 or N9. Hopefully I'll get N9 so I don't have to start using Symbian..
It's a shame since I really liked the N900. With CSSU it was really great device..
