@zzzchainzzz and hadjistyllis: does the game freeze both with and without audio enabled? I ask this because Metal Gear Solid hangs if the audio is disabled but works with audio enabled. To fix this issue (at least with MGS) it's necessary to turn on the option "SPU IRQ Always Enabled". With this option turned on the game runs fine also with audio disabled.
