And, AFAIK, CSSU guys are considering rewriting closed parts of Fremantle (non-core closed source components made by Nokia, source of this information: http://www.mwkn.net/2012/21/devel.html ).
Oh, thank you very much for that, because I know the Free Maemo page is way outdated and uninformative. And I only noticed that and assumed it was the only resource for the N900 free software advocates. But thanks for proving me wrong.

I think I will put this script off for now and study that in my free time.
