Do you mean 4-thumb16 guys should update to 5.1-thumb0 before new update is released? I was thinking of skipping 5.1-thumb0 so that I don't have to run those scripts (thinking that new update will fix and I don't have to run scripts).

Edit: Just updated. Unfortunately final lines in terminal says:

The CSSU applet does says I am in 21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5.1+thumb0, but just wondering if my update has been successful and complete.
