The fact that /root doesn't exist should not prevent you from doing "root", "sudo gainroot", or "su".
Are you sure this is the only thing you've deleted?
Just gain root (somehow
and "mkdir /root". There's nothing important in that directory anyway (root doesn't really need a home).
