Err, no. FAM does not pick up the changes made in HAM. I had to update both.

Oh, and as kolos said, the merlin mirror gives me hash mishmash but the recommended skeiron mirror is not a cure: it gives me "sub-process bzip2 returned an error code (2)". What am I doing wrong?
Apologies for the Fapman thing as I don't use it hence not aware of how exactly it functions...

To just test everything again, I deleted whatever I had done deleted the lists in /var/lib/apt/lists/, apt-get clean then went back to HAM, disabled catalogues and added skeiron.org for Community-Testing, Extras and Extras-devel without any issues...

Please try via apt-get update and post the logs...


Edit: My apt-get update log with my HAM sources.list can be found here...

Do NOT edit the HAM sources list manually but edit Application Catalogues using HAM.
