The thing is that your 'friend' sends you either a webpage or a .exe file saying that it is a very cool app/page/tutorial and you have to try it. You download it and then you open it. And eventually you will appear on your friend's program as a 'victim' and he will have access to your desktop, webcam and files, oh, and passwords
