Nope, updated it and no good. I tried backupmenu's fsck and it said my home had errors though... ...just running it manually and yeah, seems hosed. I guess all the updates of system components to a dodgy filesystem borked it really badly. May I suggest a cssu pre-install fsck that the partition is clean first?
