Difficulties in knowledge tests can be tricky. Long time ago I used to watch "millionaire" (yes, I was that desperate ). I would inevitably fail on the "warm-up" questions ("who won this year's cup") but by the time they got to the more "advanced" ones (history, physics...), I would score at least 80%.
