Chromecast is not a full fledged Android device and you cannot plug a keyboard nor mouse into it. It is a very stripped down Chrome/Android hybrid device that is controlled by whitelisted apps that send it a URL or a stream. It does NOT run actually run Android applications itself.

I should know. I have three in our household now. I love it.. but please don't mistake it for an Android-on-a-stick solution. It's strictly a streaming appliance.
