I may have gotten it wrong but the way read Estel's post is, "Are the potential buyers supposed to check the IMEI of the phone
they are considering buying
against this list?" I agree with Estel that the usefulness of this list for that purpose is somewhat questionable, but there may be another use.
For what it's worth, here is mine. Same condition as peterleinchen's, same (lack of) intention of releasing it into circulation. I purchased it in a full knowledge of the fault.
