It's related to https://together.jolla.com/question/...n-typing-exit/. In short, Silica cannot tell the difference between applications terminated graciously and those killed by OOM and has to assume the latter, leaving zombie covers on the screen.

Still, it would be nice to have an option to remove covers through some dbus command or some such.
