After some test with my commercial N900 full LCD I think ex N900 prototype owner had tried to install last maemo version on prototype device s3.2 and had changed the hardware revision... perhaps s3.2 doesn't support last maemo OS. it's probably because screen is black (i have tested with my working frontside lcd commercial n900) at startup even after boot.
Or device was broken down in the past...
