I am guessing this is wireless with WPA? Just try connecting to it and follow the instructions of the wizard. It's pretty self-explanatory. The only non-obvious thing to try that sometimes causes problems is that some WPA networks require "manual user name" to be set to the username you are using to authenticate. (You get to this by _manually_ adding a connection through connection settings and at the end of the wizard clicking on "advanced")
