Create and delete. Move emails from Folder A in Account 1 to Folder B in Account 2. You know, like any semi-decent email client can, even Modest on the N900.

Certainly not. I was referring to what I thought you meant by your post - that the ability to run Linux desktop applications would solve Linux mobile problems - but now I see you meant a specific use case. Sorry, I'll get me coat.
