No. Afair the Jolla is in general a cheap AquaFish device from India branded Jolla. The Jolla1 was some self-designed HW made in China. I was quite happy with the JollaC for a long time and if you take care of the device it may serve you easily 2-4 years. Still have a full-time used and new one. 4G frequencies are not perfect for Europe/US but 2G/3G work. Jolla1 has only 1G memory and is not suitable for running Android applications. But if you do not need Android it is the 'better' device, more handy, robust screen, no 4G. I hope I got it right. Else someone may correct, please.
