Just click the playlist with media player, and wait, you should be able to see some channels. Change channel by clicking the fast forward. You have already changed the .m3u.txt file to .m3u file, right? Or even more better, use kmplayer, and open the playlist, it allows one to random access and choose the description of the channel.
mplayer should also play too, not as smooth though.
Look into Menu>Extras, you would find media player. 770 does not have the codecs to play them.
