I think this has something to do with the software checking the date to download the latest release. So, just download the firmware file you want from the link below. Then before starting the update wizard go to Control Panel > Network Connections and disable all connections. Run the wizard, select the firmware file you just downloaded, and enable your network connections again after the update is finished. That should do it.
