Attached is a current beta version (not even in extras devel yet)
(new features include weather radar - the localhost:8888/x.html now has a maps and radar button, and you can do radar50.heml or radar100.html for weather maps showing about 50 or 100 miles or whatever value).

First, try configuring the GPS so it works with the original built-in map program (or maemo mapper using the internal infrastructure). It is possible the GPS is not paired properly or something else - the bluetooth stack is complaining about finishing the connection properly.
