It feels like a slap in the face for us tablet users. What a waste.
Pretty harsh words, but I can see where you're coming from.

But, as all things Maemo usually are, the content proposals and Content Committee were all announced and organized long ago:

There was plenty of time to state cases and argue about things such as this.
