For linux PC - very easy. You should config USB networking (or any other networking with n900), install gpsd and tell PC programms IP of a host (n900), on which gpsd is running
Thanks for replying with that. You just saved me from buying a GPS receiver. Man, I love Linux !

Does Navit do turn by turn nav ?
