Depends what device and what OSes. In principle, there's no reason the N800/N810/N900 can't boot up any ARM-compatible OS (my old N800 allows me to select Maemo or Mer at boot). If it's not optimised for the mobile platform, it'll look lousy and be difficult to control though.
