The camera on N900 has automatic geotagging. You can switch GPS on or off in 'settings'and 'location'.
GPS data logger can be found here:
http://my-maemo.com/software/applica...uto=931&faq=32
Look for the repositories to be used on the N900
Tracking can be done by QLandkarte M on N900 and QLandkarte GT on your PC
http://www.qlandkarte.org/index.php?...&id=8&Itemid=8
Q Landkarte M is in the extras-devel repo.
For N900, maep, with Openstreetmap or Google maps, can record tracks.

Correlation of logged data and pictures:
- be sure date and time on N900 and camera are the same
- on your PC, use GPScorrelate (for linux or windows):

http://www.freefoote.com/linux/corrdoc/concepts.html
http://www.freefoote.com/linux/corrdoc/gui.html
- Or on your PC use DIGIKAM for correlation, and easy viewing and editing of locations:
http://www.digikam.org/drupal/about
It is in the ubuntu-repository, and available for windows as well.
