Consider also the rollabe rubber (silicone?) keyboards.
There are compact models without number pad.

Mine has a USB connection and works well with USB OTG without extra power,
but I have not checked battery drainage.
( Can do if you need it.)

I like that it is dust and water protected, makes packing easy,
especially as it needs no protection against breaking.

The keys need a slightly higher pressure, which I quickly got used to,
and give a nice clicky feed-back. A flat support is of course needed.
( Mind, I am not a touch typist.)
