Be careful! At least from other components (mic in OM Freerunner) I know there is a maximum KeV mentioned in the datasheets, as otherwise the polarized electret membrane gets discharged. And you know you can erase eeprom/flash easily with ionizing radiation?. This might not only cause a need for reflashing the rootfs - if NOLO is erased you pretty much got a brick aiui. Also in several of the subsystem chips (BT, WLAN, accelerometer, dunno what else) there is local firmware that often is stored to EPROM. Erase this and the chip is dead for all practical POV.

Just felt like mentioning it.
