The provided adapter is rated as 5V, while I found a dc-4 compatible car charger that is rated at 5.7V. I also saw various usb power adapters (i.e. 12V dc or 220/110V ac to usb) rated at 6V.
Are 5.7 or 6V safe or will they destroy my n800?
And since these compatible adapters are usually exact replicas of the original (voltage regulation is not rocket science), is the original dc-4 also rated at 5.7V?
