I see no point in this - nice eye-candy, but it isn't practical nor easy in the long run. It didn't work smoothly even on the Lenovo, what if you lose blobs etc.

I'd like to see polished, well designed desktop like UI and not something which is a combination of the fish tank sceen saver of windows past and whatever else.
