Hi Vlad, I just installed version 0.28.9, and confirm that the new version uses the proxy configured in system. Unfortunately, Omweather still doesn't fetch data, but this time because my bloody french mobile operator's proxy is blocking the UserAgent used ("Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061205 Iceweasel/2.0.0.1"). Confirmed with wget*: I can download the XML file with default UserAgent or the one used by Microb, but not with Iceweasel/2.0.0.1. Anyway, thank you very much for the proxy code fix.
